A short story...
Why was the accordion invented?
The accordion experienced an industrial boom in the early 20th century because anyone could play the easy-to-use instrument without having to be able to read music. The name "accordion" comes from the left hand system, with which one could play entire chords by pressing just two buttons. It is obvious that folk songs could be accompanied with ease in any key. This makes the sound of the accordion indispensable to this day in combination with well-known Christmas songs.
